Time to dream but not to sew

3 Dec

No time for sewing at all this week, but I walk past the sewing room and look and plan and daydream.  Today I had a bit of time so some progress has been made.

This is the fountain of cotton candy pink organza for my skirt.  Whether the tight gathering at the top will be covered by the folds of the bodice and the rest of the skirts is a question which is yet to be answered.

A messy, pinned up VERY general idea of what I am thinking of.  Front view.

Side view.  Yeah.  I think it will work.  I’m going to sew that ruffly stuff down and cross my fingers!  Maybe the other way around…
