Many photos, no words!

20 Dec

I tossed those photos onto the blog yesterday as I was going out because I want to solicit ideas on how to decorate the gown.  Of course, we couldn’t get the iPad to cooperate with the iPhone hotspot, and the phone was too small for my aged friends to have a good look.

I am a bit stumped on how to do the decorations on this one! I see lots of rhinestones – probably crystal AB’s  (that is a clear crystal with a process that makes them sparkle different colours.  AB stands for aurora borealis) and probably some pale pink ones just because I have some left over.

I think the large applique that is in one of the photos is too big, but the small ones show some promise.  I especially would like to use those since my dear sister-in-law gave them to me.  I think there are about a dozen or so of those and they would look nice on the shoulders and/or to anchor the floats.  I am open to ideas!

Here are today’s photos.  I have hemmed the bodice, painstakingly by hand, while it was on Miss Mitzie so I could see how it would hang.  I am seeing the pearly appliques surrounded by crystals somehow and radiating outward in some sort of a sunburst pattern perhaps?
