I have 5209 on my to sew list. Cut out the pattern have the fabric…just need to get round to making it. You should make that one….do it as a sewalong. I want to use mine for the next lindy exchange.

LadyD – the fabric is: https://bgballroom.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/0182.jpg Ooops – don’t know how to make a link in a reply, bout you can cut and paste. I was gifted a huge batch of perfect turquoise lycra that will go under the organza. It just kinda screams 1959 to me. The ultimate challenge will be fitting this with enough ease to dance but not so much that it is loose. And a zipper. None of my gowns have zippers. :-b
